Funny Vegitarian Meals
The hardest thing in switching to vegitarian meals is often to talk with your family about your and their eating habits. Below there is an excellent example of vegitarian meals that can be used both for healthy diet and to pull out a trick on your unsuspecting “meatloving” family. This mock meat meal may be useful in convincing them to at least to accept your vegetarian diet. It is certain that it will make a better job of convincing your family to accept your new diet than any number of family rows about it.
Nutburgers
If you do it right, you'll be able to trick your family into eating vegetarian meals without them even noticing. This way you may overcome their fear of the unknown and make accepting your decisions much easier. All you need is: A cup of shredded cheddar cheese, two eggs, a cup of toasted wheat germ or cooked rice, a cup of chopped parsley, three stalks of minced celery, one minced onion, a cup of chopped walnuts, one chopped green pepper, salt, basil and curry powder.
Just mix everything together and and make sure that you have mashed all the veggies together so you can't tell what is what. Then all you need to do is to form burgers and fry or grill them just as you'd do with ordinary burgers. This meal is better to pull this trick than soy-based vegetarian meals, because soya taste is too easy to notice. With some luck you will tell your family what's going on only after they tell you it's delicious. And that's all that you need to make them accept your vegetarianism, isn't it?
